Biography:
Mahendran obtained his degree in Bachelor of Science (Biotechnology) from Aimst University, Kedah in 2017. Currently he is pursuing his master’s degree under supervision of Prof. Sudesh Kumar. His research is focused on diseases of rubber tree and utilizing naturally existing endophytes as the means of controlling them. Besides that, he is also involved in transformation works in developing transgenic rubber clones and standardizing the transformation protocol.
