Biography: Shaik Ling obtained her Bachelor of Applied Sciences (Biotechnology) degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia. She completed her undergraduate’s final year project in Ecobiomaterial Laboratory under the guidance of Prof. Dr. K. Sudesh Kumar. Then, she continued her master degree under the supervision of Prof. Dr. K. Sudesh Kumar and Assoc. Prof. Dr. Bakiah Shaharuddin from Advanced Medical and Dental Institute (AMDI), USM. Her work is mainly focused on fabrication of biomaterial PHA/silk fibroin blend scaffold using electrospinning technique and evaluate their potential for tissue engineering application.
