Research Title: Optimization of polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) production with engineered strains of Cupriavidus necator and application.
Biography: Nazila pursued her Bachelor from Azad university, Iran and worked as a research assistant in clinical laboratory and food quality control laboratory, Iran. She achieved Master’s degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Malaysia, Currently she is pursuing her doctoral degree under Professor Sudesh Kumar; and the team accentuates on betterment of the future with minimal dependencies on fossil resources. Her main research encompasses optimization of polyhydroxyalkanoates (PHA) production with Cupriavidus necator NSDG-GG and NSDG-GG ΔB1/pBPP, engineered strains of Cupriavidus necator H16 and finally to target PHA to associate with phosphate solubilizing microorganisms in the soil to promote plant growth. She also has great interest in cultural and social activities.
