Research Title: Scaling up the production of P(3HB-co-3HHx) and alter the 3HHx monomer fraction by co-feeding Palm Olein and oil palm tree trunk SAP as carbon source by recombinant C.necator Re2058/pCB113.

Biography:

Murugan Paramasivam, his Bachelor degree from St.Xaviers’s college,Tamil Nadu, India in the year 2000 to 2003 and Master degree from Sri Paramakalyani College, Tamil Nadu, India in the year 2003 to 2005. He did his master’s research work in Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI), Chennai. His research was studies on proteolytic enzyme producing organism and application of protease enzyme in leather industry. He gained several years of industrial working experience before joining the Ecobiomaterial research lab for further his doctorate degree in Universiti Sains Malaysia starting from September 2013.

He developed a team to work in-group and establish absolute audit compliance. Conducted various self inspection audits and given training on various aspects of CGMP and CGLP. Been involved in the method validation, process validation, cleaning validation and equipment validation studies. Established the microbiology laboratories with full audit compliance. His current research project for doctorate degree is to Scaling up the production of P(3HB-co-3HHx) and alter the 3HHx monomer fraction by co-feeding Palm Olein and oil palm tree trunk SAP as carbon source by recombinant C.necator Re2058/pCB113. under the supervision of Prof. Dr. K. Sudesh Kumar.
